The ssrevenge livejournal site [Oct. 3rd, 2008|10:45 am]
[Tags|]

So we've started a LiveJournal page for SSRevenge. There has been a call to create more of a private journal feel for the community to reflect what once was available to our users at the old Social Satellite website. Hopefully, LiveJournal will be a good spot for something like that.

I still enjoy the posting board format - it's more interactive, and I'm terrible at keeping track of the minutae of my life, as the lack of activity here at LJ belies.

Hopefully, this meets the needs of all the cool people who have stayed in touch through the site over the years.

Things that keep me busy [Feb. 28th, 2008|04:57 pm]

[mood |busy]

Alright, so I see it's been a very long time since I've posted anything here. Time to change that.

I've been a busy bee. About a year ago, Social Satellite, my local networking website of choice, went down. Gone. Bunch of people were devastated. Within one month, I opened http://www.ssrevenge.com - a posting board that collected many of the most frequent posters of Social Satellite. It's pure and simply a posting board, but like any posting board, it's the people that make it come alive.

In the meantime, I've also been writing for a local newspaper's free weekly magazine. http://blogs.e-rockford.com/onthego is the home of many of my raves, mostly of webcomics, local bands, and information about my work with the Rockford IceHogs.

These are the things that keep me busy and the places you can find me adding my two cents to the internet. Stop by and say "Howdy!" won't you?

Firsties [Feb. 7th, 2007|04:57 pm]

Alrighty. So. One of my favorite places in the world - Social Satellite - may or may not be going through a transition in some unknown number of days/months ahead. I already have a MySpace, but that site is a little too well known for my periodic musings. So I'm wondering if this might make for a reasonable refuge. If so... yay. If not - I'm off to build my own bbs. But at least I'll have a look around here first and test out the goodies.
